This is a witty interpretation of the Chinese concept of
the balance and attraction of opposites. Yin, the
passive or female principle of the universe, and Yang,
the active, male principle, are here represented by
two semi-spherical halves. Ng first created Yang
which features an abstract, crouching figure in relief.
From this, he cast the mould for Yin so that it bears
the imprint of this figure in reverse. When joined, the
two halves fit into a perfect sphere.
