The Pilot Programme - Residency & Exchange Art Programme (REAP)

20 Oct - 6 Dec 2009

Iggy Rodriguez, Romantiko, 74 x 51cm, Pen and Ink on Paper, 2009.

The Residency Exchange and Art Programme (REAP) resonates well with the University Museum as we seek to promote encounters between cultures as well as youth in an environment of dialogue and learning. It is also a great chance for artists to share the work done during the residency with a broader audience.

The programme was organised by Artesan with the aim of providing interaction opportunities for young artists from different nationalities and cultures. Six artists - Buen Calubayan , Iggy Rodriguez and Ivan Roxas from the Philippines and Jeremy Sharma , Wong Lip Chin and Joshua Yang from Singapore - led by Emmanuel Garibay (The Philippines) participated in this exchange.

The Singapore section of the residency took place at NUS CFA Studio in May 2008.
