Please note at this time the undergraduate University-wide exchange from NUS to Duke gives priority to NUS Pre-Medical Scholars.  NUS may only send Pre-Med Scholars to Duke during the Fall semester. Places are limited.

Students can only take modules from the Trinity College of Arts and Science as well as the Pratt School of Engineering.

 
SEP Application
Restrictions for Exchange Students

Students will be able to apply for courses that are listed in the Undergraduate Bulletin for which they meet the pre-requisites. 

Not all courses are offered every semester.  You should be prepared to be flexible with the courses you wish to take in case your top choices are not offered or are already fully subscribed.

Accommodations
Housing Options

NUS students attending Duke shall be required to stay on the Duke campus or at other accommodations identified by Duke, and shall pay to Duke room and board fees.

 
Visa & Insurance
Consular/Visa Regulations

Exchange students to Duke must complete a preliminary visa application. The Duke Global Education Office for Undergraduates will facilitate access to Duke's visa application for qualified applicants. Once a student has been accepted and is committed to Duke's Undergraduate Visiting International Student Program, Duke's Visa Services Office will provide the student with proper documentation to obtain a student visa for study at Duke.

Health/Medical Insurance

NUS students attending Duke University shall purchase medical insurance coverage through the Duke University plan offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.  NUS Exchange students will be responsible for payment of the applicable premium in full prior to their arrival at Duke.
