The Cracow University of Technology is composed of 7 Faculties and 35 majors. 15,000 students attend day, night, part-time, graduate and post-diploma courses and programmes which are supervised by 1180 academic teachers. Over the last 64 years close to 58,000 graduates have earned their degrees. In 2008 our University was ranked by the magazine "Newsweek Polska" as the top university in Poland and its alumni find jobs easily due to their high qualifications. The Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology earned its accreditation from the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the second largest faculty of its kind in Poland. The Technology Transfer Centre is located on the main campus and is one of the biggest Regional Contact Points (of framework programmes) in Poland, and also the coordinator of the Innovation Relay Centre (IRC) South Poland. |

NUS Application Deadline |

Please check with SEP Administrator in the Dean’s Office for actual dates. You have to be nominated by NUS in order to apply for fee waiver exchange with Cracow University of Technology. Applicants are requested to complete the Application Form for Incoming Students and return it together with The Learning Agreement and two passport-size photographs. The required documents are supposed to reach the ERASMUS office at Politechnika Krakowska before 30 May for semester 1 exchange and 30 October for semester 2 exchange. |

Housing Options |

Please note that in order to be guaranteed accommodation in one of Cracow students' halls of residence you should submit appropriate documents to the Erasmus office (pd5@pk.edu.pl) at Politechnika Krakowska before 30 May, regardless of whether you are planning to commence your study period at our university in the winter or spring semester of the following academic year. Co-educative student on-campus housing - double rooms with shared bathrooms (each bathroom is shared by four students) and shared kitchen. |

Health/Medical Insurance |

Medical care in Poland is not free of charge. Non-EU students are recommended to buy medical insurance in their home country before arriving in Poland. Documentary proof of insurance will be required. |
