Testimonial from students

“If you are into extreme sports, then New Zealand is the place for you! Bungy jumping, whitewater rafting, skydiving, paragliding, hanggliding and whatever you name it, it’s all here. One of the most wonderful things is the friendships I have made there - we cook, eat, study, play and do all sorts of activities there. Come on and create your own dream there!”

- Seetoh Peijia, University of Otago, 2008 -

Not only is NZ great for play but studying in University of Canterbury was an enriching experience as well. The dedication and helpfulness of the teachers were impressive…each of the engineering faculty also had their own 24 hr computer labs and there was also a 24hr computer lab at the central library which facilitated any late night discussions or studying.  The engineering modules I took also organized field trips which allowed me a chance to visit a water treatment plant and also get a glimpse of the meat processing industry.”

- Liang Huiya Esther, University of Canterbury, 2005 -

Varsity life in New Zealand isn’t as fast-paced as it is in Singapore, but that doesn’t mean we don’t study! Lessons are conducted at a much slower place and students are given time and space to indulge in learning more about a particular subject. I had to do a computing project with a group of friends from India, Korea and Hong Kong – how diverse can you get?!”

- Aaron Chin, University of Auckland, 2005 -
