The former comprise general universities and universities specialising in engineering and agriculture. The latter comprise general institutions and institutions specialising in a particular field, such as agriculture, fine and performing arts, or teacher training. According the QS World University rankings, the top University in Holland is the University of Amsterdam, followed by the University of Leiden and the University of Utrecht respectively. |

“I would say SEP has been the most exciting moment in the whole university education for me. By immersion in cultural exchange through living and attending school for half a year, I have learned not only the Dutch way of living and study, but also the cultural awareness, sensitivity and empathy to new cultures. In the program, I met people from different parts of the Europe Continent and developed long lasting friendship with people from Spain and Hungary. The most fun part of SEP perhaps is travel. I travelled to more than 20 cities over 11 countries in 5 months. Sightseeing the classical city architectures and beautiful natural scenes and enjoying the delicious local delicacies were fond memories of this very wonderful SEP experience.” - Wang Yixiang, Faculty of Engineering - |
