Curriculum Structure

The workload for exchange students is between 9 and 18 credits. Students taking Korean Language course can take a maximum of 12 credits.

Medium of Instruction for Classes

Korean, however they offer a variety of courses in English

English courses offered at undergraduate level: 
Korean Language, Limited Business & Economics, Politics, Sociology, Engineering, Sciences, Human Ecology, Number of Courses offered by Underwood International College, Study Abroad Courses, which are coded with IEE.

Restrictions for Exchange Students

Students are required to meet the pre-requisites for the courses that they applied.

Exchange students are not allowed to take courses from

 
  • Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing
  • Music
  • Law
  • MBA

NUS Application Deadline

Generally between October and March for SEP in the following academic year.

Please check with your Faculty SEP Administrator for the application timelines.

 
Accommodation
Housing Options

Exchange students will be housed at the SK Global House.

The public facilities include fitness center, multi-media room, louhge,  laundry, kitchen, music room, study room etc.

Single room

 
  • Furniture: Single bed, Desk and chair, Bookcase, Closet, Shoe rack, Linen set, Individual air-conditioning and heating system, Interphone, Internet access available, private bathroom & shower.
  • Rate: 2,394,000KRW / 1 semester (4 months).


Double room

 
  • Furniture: Single bed, Desk and chair, Bookcase, Closet, Shoe rack, Linen set, Individual air-conditioning and heating system, Interphone, Internet access available, private bathroom and shower.
  • Rate: 1,587,000KRW / 1 semester (4 months).

Visa & Insurance
Consular/Visa Regulations

Exchange students must apply for a D2 student visa before arrival. After you received the Certificate of Admission (CoA) and offer letter from your host university, please proceed to the Korean Embassy to apply for the student visa.

Health/Medical Insurance

All exchange students must acquire health insurance that covers them for the full duration of their stay overseas at their own arrangement.
