Visa & Insurance
Consular/Visa Regulation

Students must apply for a visa (do not apply for tourist visa) for study purposes via German Embassy.

Students who are going to stay in Germany for more than 3 months must register with the local immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) in order to obtain residence permit.

We recommend purchasing a public health insurance policy of approx. 65 Euros / month in Bonn available to students up to the age of 29 years.
