Institution Profile
 

Supélec, short for "Ecole Supérieur d'Electricité" is one of France's prestigious Grandes Ecoles, one of the top in its field of electrical and computer engineering. The school has 3 main missions: initial training of engineers, research and development, and professional training.

Supélec was founded in Paris in 1894. Today the school is organised in a three-campus network, located in Gif-sur-Yvette on the outskirts of Paris, Rennes in Brittany and Metz in Lorraine.

Housing Options

On-campus accommodation:

Residence halls are supervised by CESAL with 3 types of residence with rents from € 330 per month.

Rooms are equipped with TV and telephone outlets, high speed internet access (bring Ethernet cable), bed, desk, closet, (single or common) bathroom. An ethernet cable is offered if you join Club Rézo.

Health/Medical Insurance

Private health insurance or French student social security runs from October 1 to September 30 (costs about €200)

European students: European Health Card
