Located in the heart of the campus and home to 1,800 full-time students from all regions of France and 150 exchange students from more than 100 partner institutions around the world, the IEPG is a prestigious center for education and research in the social and political sciences.

Admission to the IEPG for degree candidates is by competitive exam and students generally complete a five-year program of study leading to a Master’s degree in one of 15 areas of specialization, including European Studies, Non-Governmental and Inter-Governmental Organizations, Comparative Politics, Social Economics, Public Policy, Arts Administration, Journalism, Public Opinion Surveys and Research, Latin American Studies, and Legal and Financial Management.

Curriculum Structure

Five year course with the first 3 years being the first cycle and the next 2 being the second cycle

During their first three years (first cycle) at the IEPG, students receive a firm grounding in the political and social sciences (law, economics, international relations, history, politics, sociology).

After this initial course of study, students are then able to opt for one of sixteen Master’s programs designed to provide them with the professional training and skills needed in the workplace.

Housing Options

On campus accommodation: There are two types of residence hall, the non-renovated and the renovated. The former are of course cheaper, but their amenities are basic and they are not always practically located. The renovated residence halls located on campus are more comfortable and generally well located
