The Grenoble Institute of Technology has a major influence in the world of innovation, renowned as a Global Research Center (a total of 15,000 researchers in Grenoble). It has 22 different fields of engineering, 29 laboratories, and R&D services.

Grenoble Institute of Technology is a federation of 6 engineering school, located in the capital of the French Alps, in a Scientific area and an urban campus (120,000 square meters). Around 60,000 students studying in Grenoble Campus, in an exceptional and challenging environment. A great atmosphere to study and to meet people and discover a new culture.

Once you have been accepted for an exchange, to find accommodation during your stay in France please apply to the accommodation service called: “Accommodation for Exchange students of Grenoble University”.

To chose your accommodation properly, please read carefully the description of the residences. You can choose between:

· traditional residence: simple comfort, toilets common to the floor, no collective kitchen, no Internet connection
· refurbished residence: more comfort, shower room in your bedroom, wifi Internet connection
· Houille Blanche residence: residence reserved for students who come to Grenoble INP, Different types of rooms, studio. Wireless internet connection. Website : www.rhbgrenoble.com
· accommodation in a flat outside the campus: you can have temporary accommodation when you arrive, and then find by yourself accommodation in town, alone or sharing a flat thanks to ads available at the “Espace Logement.
