Accommodation
Housing Options

On-campus accommodation:

Residential Colleges
There are 8 residential colleges on or adjacent to the University’s Kensington Campus. Fees range from AUD$220 to AUD$300 per week. The colleges provide single bedrooms with linen, shared bathrooms and all meals are provided. As these residences are often in high demand, you are recommended to apply directly to the College of your choice   when the application is opened.

Other options include the University Student Apartment such as New College Village, UNSW Village etc.

Off-campus accommodation:

There are a variety of housing options in Sydney. However, housing close to UNSW is relatively expensive by Sydney standards, though plentiful, and takes a few days to arrange, particularly in January and February.  It is best to arrive 1-2 weeks before classes start so you can settle in and look for accommodation. Shared houses are by far the most popular option although private board/homestay, rented apartments and university self-catered apartments options are available.

Please refer to the Other Links section for the relevant links to University’s accommodation.
