Chang Xiang Yun "Chengdu is so unlike what I have imagined, it is a pleasant surprise. I thought that it would be some kind of a rural city with the bare essentials and without the usual luxurious items that we take for granted in Singapore." |

Goh Peck Keong "At first, I was pretty much lost in an environment where I could barely communicate with others, but thankfully, the English-speaking, friendly and attentive airport staff was on hand to guide me through all the necessary procedures. Looking back, my first strides into the SEP journey were nothing short of eventful and really, they proved to be a sign of things to come. Every day would become an adventure and every day would be a day to savour." |

Janice Lee Ser Huay "Sydney is a bustling and beautiful city with lovely beaches to explore and interesting night spots to check out. There was always something to do on each weekend and personally, I spent most of my time at the beach, gazing at the brilliant colours of the sky and sea." |

Goh Shu Shang "As my body adjusted to the cold weather, I began to enjoy what sunny Singapore does not offer. It was a really novel experience to trudge through snow on my way to school. I also found it interesting to experience what it is like to wear a parka, trench coat, and sweaters to class (because nobody does this in Singapore!)." |

Lum Wei Soon "Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language in the United States and the fourth most widely used language in the world. At UC-Davis, I had the opportunity to pick up some Spanish when I took Spanish 1 during my Spring Quarter." |
|---|
Ng Jin Shern Daniel " It was a wonderful experience studying at UBC. UBC offers many diverse courses from the sciences to performing arts. Besides taking the 3 courses that I took to map my major requirements in NUS, I also took a music course and a religious studies course." |
