The University of Technology of Troyes is a state university that consists of a network of universities of technology, namely, The University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard, The University of Technology of Compiègne and The University of Technology of Troyes. Focusing on the importance of education, research and technology, UTT works closely with them to innovate, adapt and provide an education that matches the ever changing demands of industry.

These universities of technology are also public institutions awarding degrees and diplomas that are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. UTT offers 4 engineering majors, and supports post-graduate programmes and research as well.

Academics

Visiting students can select courses from both Common Core and/or Major studies (including the specializations) under the conditions that the courses are available for the given semester and compatible with the university's timetable. They can also choose credit courses across Majors.

The following are the majors that are being offered in Engineering:
  • Materials: Technology and Economics (MTE)
  • Mechanical Systems Engineering (GSM)
  • Information Systems and Telecommunications Engineering (SIT)
  • Industrial Systems Engineering (GSI)

Housing Options

The International Relations Office will assist students in applying for accommodation. However, it is pertinent that international students who originate from countries outside of EU and Switzerland must apply for a “Resident’s Permit” before they can apply for "State Housing Benefits", (subsidies which reduce the rent). Living Expenses can be estimated at around €700 monthly, (tourism, leisure activities included) depending on life style and accommodation.
