The UTC engineering program consists of a common core and a major.

The common core (French baccalaureate admission level)

• two year integrated preparatory cycle followed by a major

The major

• three year specialization leading directly to the engineering degree.

To enhance the all-roundedness of the student, the university stresses on the importance of communication skills as well as the knowledge of human and social sciences.

Academic Calendar:

• Autumn Semester : mid-September –mid-January
• Spring Semester   : mid-February – mid-July

The university offers university residences. However, the university is not in charge of handling the accommodation procedures. CROUS or ALESC are in charge of the procedures and they can be consulted on the CROUS website (http://www.crous-paris.fr/logement/index.asp) and for ALESC website (http://web.utc.fr/alesc/) . Students can also look for private accommodation as well.

Considering that the university is located just north of Paris, a wise monthly budget would range from 700 € and 1100 € per month (inclusive of all expenses).
