Visuel

Founded in 1919, the Ecole Centrale Nantes (Centrale Nantes) has been dedicating its education to train future engineers for the industry. Equipped with special research laboratories and professional lecturers, Centrale Nantes promises an education of high standards. One of its main objectives is to strengthen and continuously develop ties with foreign universities and companies to attract foreign students to its campus.

Similar to the other 4 Ecoles Centrales, Centrale Nantes is made up of a 2-year broad-based multidisciplinary common core course, involving both scientific (chemistry, applied physics, physics, mechanics, mathematics, computer science, etc.) and management-focused, cultural and foreign language courses. The 3rd year course focuses on pre-specialisation in one of the previously studied courses.

Besides its academic lure, Nantes possesses a high quality of life that has been consistently highlighted in the national press.  With its large green avenues, its stimulating cultural scene and the nearby coast, numerous museums and art galleries, Nantes provides for all – whether the love of nature of art. By bike, by tram or by foot, it is always a joy to travel through Nantes.
