Université Paris Dauphine was founded as a faculty of economic and management sciences in 1968 in the former NATO headquarters in western Paris. Established as a university in 1970, Dauphine quickly acquired a high-level reputation in its own field. Dauphine was granted the status of grand établissement in 2004 making them comparable to the level of excellence of the famous Sciences-Po Paris.
The university offers a highly coherent, selective and professional academic program with numerous illustrious faculty members and outstanding alumni. Dauphine is one of the smallest universities in Metropolitan Paris, with 8000 students, and specializes in excellence in research and undergraduate and postgraduate education.
Language of Instruction: English and French
Students may take courses in English, French or a combination of both.
Dauphine also organizes intensive French language seminars for incoming students that begin in early September.
