Churches, bridges and the port have been beautifully preserved and are one of Ghent's many attractions. Besides the historical sites in the city, Ghent has something for everyone, ranging from museums to shopping and an exciting nightlife.
Language of Instruction
With the exception of all foreign language courses, lectures at the UGhent are held in Dutch. There are some courses held in English. The University offers intensive Dutch courses before and during term time.
