Application Deadlines:
Please obtain information on deadlines and application procedures from your faculty's Student Exchange Programme (SEP) Administrator/Coordinator.

Housing Options

On-campus Housing:
Relatively few students at UofT live in a university residence. If they are not living at home they either look for housing that is managed by a private residence organization, or search independently for off-campus accommodation.

The University of Toronto cannot guarantee accommodation to exchange students on the downtown (St. George) campus, but we currently expect to be able to offer some type of housing to all exchange applicants who request it. Because there is a broad range of accommodation available, we ask that you read the information here carefully.
As mentioned above, exchange students at both the Scarborough and Mississauga campus are guaranteed on-campus housing.

The University of Toronto offers a wide range of choices for student housing. There are 13 University Halls which have single studio apartments and shared accommodation. Exchange students should budget between Cdn$800 and Cdn$1,200 per month for both food and accommodation together.

The Student Housing Service can help with finding suitable accommodation http://www.housing.utoronto.ca/
