University’s faculties/schools:

Auckland Abroad exchange students must take a full time course of study with a maximum load of 60 points per semester, which generally makes up to 4 courses. Housing Options

On-campus accommodation:
Self-catering residences and three Halls of Residences are several accommodation options at the University of Auckland. Exchange students are strongly encouraged to apply online for University Accommodation at www.auckland.ac.nz/accommodation as early as possible. You do not need to be accepted by the University of Auckland to apply online. Application fee is NZ$75.

Off-campus accommodation:
There is a wide range of rental accommodation available close to the university, ranging from fully furnished apartments to bungalow houses (flats). The monthly fee for a homestay starts from NZ$817, while flatting ranges from NZ$600 to $860 per month.
