Summer Program for Biodivesity, Agriculture and Culture of Taiwan
What is this programme about?
College of Bioresources and Agriculture, National Taiwan University (CBA, NTU) is holding the "Biodiversity, Agriculture, and Culture of Taiwan Summer Program" for you to explore in Taiwan. It is a 3-week long program that offers an attractive blend of well-preserved Chinese heritage and cosmopolitan influences.

What is the academic content?
All the courses and field trips of this program will be conducted in English. During the program, NTU will bring you from the ocean up to low, mid, and high elevations, where you will see why and how a small island could be endowed with such high biodiversity. NTU will also arrange for you to visit the world famous National Palace Museum, to get hands-on experiences with the bamboo and tea culture, as well as the Chinese calligraphy and language. You'll have taste of the Taiwanese delicacies and even get the chance to make some by yourself! You will also experience shopping and eating at night markets.
What is the student accommodation?
Housing is provided by the BOT Shui-Yuan Dormitory, offering single rooms within an on-campus student residential complex, equipped with sports facilities and spacious communal areas.

Is financial assistance available?
Yes. Students can apply for the NASA Enhancement Bursary* (by Financial Need) or NASA Enhancement Scholarship (by Merit). More information here.

Is a visa required?
Students are to consult the Taiwan Embassy to determine if a visa is required and to apply for an entry visa if needed.
