10th Sino-Singapore Undergraduate Exchange Programme 2012 The Sino-Singapore Undergraduate Exchange Programme is a prestigious programme spearheaded by the respective Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore and China. It aims to instill Singaporean students with a global perspective and understanding on China and its potential, and to expose the Chinese students to life and education in Singapore. |

AUN Educational Forum and Young Speakers Contest The AUN Educational Forum and Young Speakers’ Contest is an annual two-week workcamp that aims to foster the ASEAN spirit through academic and non-academic activities. Hosted by a different member university and with a different theme annually, participants attend, engage and participate in such activities as round-table discussions, speakers’ contests, educational tours, cultural programmes and specially-arranged lectures. The ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum is an annual event organised under the auspices of the ASEAN University Network (AUN). Aimed primarily at enhancing and strengthening mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation among ASEAN youths, the Forum provides a platform for students from AUN member universities to showcase their cultures and traditions through music, song and dance. This is a unique opportunity for youths in the region, not only to gain a better appreciation of their cultural heritage and that of others, but also provide a means of promoting stronger cross-border interactions and ties. With the aim to groom the leader in you, the TF LEaRN Programme @ NUS nurtures the next generation of Asian leaders by providing opportunities for cultural exchange, networking, community engagement and leadership development. Selected students receive S$ 4,000-S$ 6,000 during their semester exchange to ASEAN and Asia (China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan). |

U21 Undergraduate Research Conference The U21 Undergraduate Research Conference allows students from around the globe to present their research to a diverse audience of peers, faculty, and mentors from the U21 member universities. Students from any discipline are welcome to join the conference for stimulating discussions and networking opportunities. Seminars and social activities are also included in the programme. The U21 Undergraduate Research Conference 2013 will take place from 8 to 12 July 2013, at University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This year’s conference takes the theme ‘Urban Challenges: builing healthy, smart and & creative cities for the future’. |

U21 Graduate Research Conference The U21 Graduate Research Conference aims to provide participants with an opportunity to develop a range of skills relevant to the research process. Delegates give talks, present posters, and produce short articles which are reviewed by other participants. These experiences develop their communication skills and give them an idea of the peer review process. Guest speakers are also invited to contribute to the discussions. The next Graduate Research Conference will be hosted by University College Dublin in July 2013 on the theme 'Energy'. South Africa: Warwick in Africa Programme NUS and Warwick University have teamed up to offer NUS undergraduate students opportunities to make a difference in lives of hundreds of African high school students in impoverished villages in South Africa through the Warwick in Africa Programme (WiA). WiA is a Mathematic and English teaching programme in African high schools organized by Warwick University for its own students for the past years. The programme has been extremely successful and gained media attention in the United Kingdom. A 30-minute documentary film of the programme “Our World: Mission For Maths” was broadcasted on BBC News Channel in early October 2011. |

Yale Visiting International Student Program (Y-VISP) The Yale Visiting International Student Program (www.yale.edu/yvisp) is an honors program at Yale University, designed for undergraduates from partner institutions. Selected students will join the Yale undergraduate community for a full academic year (junior year). You will enroll in Yale undergraduate courses and live with Yale students in one of 12 residential college communities. You will also participate in extracurricular activities available to all Yale undergraduates. |
