Next Step Connections (NSC) offers professional internships and other learning abroad educational programs in Asia for college students and young professionals since 2008. They organize tailor-made internships in the best companies in Asia.

What is the academic/intern content?
Next Step Connections will provide you with a professional internship placement in Shanghai or Hong Kong. They have built up strong corporate connections and exclusive partnerships with leading companies across a wide range of internship industries enabling our participants to access the best international internships in Asia.
Example of past internship companies:
As an example, they have organized finance internships at Standard Chartered, fashion internships at Li&Fung, Business Internships at Chai Tai, Architecture internships at Tesco, Marketing internships at JC Decaux, Event Planning internships at Accor Group, Accounting internships at AXA Minmetals, legal internships at Sheppard Mullin LLC, Journalism internships at CNN and also at SME's with successful entrepreneurs.

Is financial assistance available?
Yes. Students can apply for the NASA Enhancement Bursary* (by Financial Need) or NASA Enhancement Scholarship (by Merit). More information here.
Singaporean Students applying for the Shanghai Programme can apply for the NUS Internship Award for China too, but only 1 form of financial aid (either NASA or NUS Internship Award) will be awarded.

What are the eligibility requirements?

Is a visa required?
Yes. NSC will assist you with the visa application and provide the documents required for you to obtain the F-Business visa prior to arrival.
