The IARU Global Internship Program aims to provide IARU students with the opportunity to gain valuable international work experience by conducting high-impact research and projects in another member university. The University of Tokyo is offering a research internship position at International Core Research Center for NanoBio. The internship will take place from 1 July - 31 August 2013.

IARU Student Sustainability Fellowship (For NUS Students)

As part of the Campus Sustainability Initiative, the IARU has established a Sustainability Fellowship Program. This program allows a small number of selected students to work on exchange in the Campus Sustainability Departments of IARU member institutions, undertaking environmental management projects. These projects have an operational focus and in many cases generated outcomes that can be applied more widely.

Selected students will be provided with a stipend to work on targeted campus sustainability projects at IARU member universities all around the world. Projects will be institutional-specific or related to IARU activities; these projects are intended to allow students apply valuable lessons learnt at the host institutions back at NUS.

India and Southeast Asia: Internships with the Singapore International Foundation in India, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos and Vietnam

SIF is offering NUS students internship opportunities through the Singapore International Volunteers (SIV) Student Fellowship. India: Internship Programme at European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS)

European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), comprising Airbus, Eurocopter, Astrium and Cassidian is a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services. As at 8 November 2012, EADS generated revenues of € 37.3 billion. They have a staff strength of around 133,000 in more than 170 sites worldwide.

EADS is offering NUS Computer Engineering and Computing students the opportunity to be an intern at EADS in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. Interns will be working on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or Photogrammetry (image processing) projects. Accommodation, transfers, and a monthly stipend will be provided.

India: Internship Programme at Air India SATS Airport Services Pte Ltd (AISATS)

The internship programme at Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS), provides students with the opportunity to work in the aviation industry in the financial hub of India, Mumbai or the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. A 50:50 joint venture between Air India and SATS, AISATS provides ground and cargo handling services at 5 airports in India and serves a total of 40 carriers in these hubs.

Students can choose from a variety of job scopes, including marketing (branding), procurement and operations management. Accommodation and a monthly stipend will be provided.

India: Internship Programme at Ascendas Services (India) Pvt Ltd

The internship programme at Ascendas, India, gives students a chance to work with Ascendas Senior Management in the International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB). Bangalore is the Silicon Valley of India and among the top 10 preferred entrepreneurial locations in the world. In 2012, Ascendas won the prestigious FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Award in Industrial Category for ITPB.

Students will be working on Marketing & Lease Management, or Facilities & Projects Management of ITPB. A monthly stipend of Rs 25,000 will be provided.

India: Internship Programme at Garodia International Centre for Learning

Garodia International Centre for Learning (GICL) is an international school based in Ghatkopar in the financial hub of India, Mumbai. It is part of the Garodia Group, which owns and manages a range of institutions across India and abroad, including One World International School in Singapore. GICL has been awarded the International Centre status by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, and is affiliated to the International Baccalaureate Organization.

Students will manage and teach classes, and be involved in curriculum design. Accommodation will be provided by GICL.

Student will be handling transport management or marketing, and will be paid a monthly stipend.
