Italy: NUS – Hangar Design Group International Internship Programme
What is this programme about?
Established in 1980 in the city of Venice, Hangar Design Group is an Italian company with office branches in Milan, Shanghai and New York city. The work by Hangar Design Group ranges from brand identity to corporate image, to interiors, product design and editorial.
Hangar Design Group prides itself to have contributed to the brand value enhancement for its former and current clients which include OVS, CAME Group, Geox, Nestlé, and La Perla.
Hangar Design Group is looking for a NUS undergraduate student to work as intern at the company’s headquarter in Venice. The responsibilities of the intern will include, but not limited to the followings:

(Students will need to apply for a Leave of Absence in order to participate in the internship).

What is the internship content?
Academic credit MAY be available. Credit for the internship is strictly at the student’s discretion. Students interested in obtaining credit must work with their faculty for credit mapping. A list of SEP faculty coordinators and administrators can be found here. IRO does not apply for credit transfer on the students’ behalf.

Is financial assistance available?
A monthly stipend of 300 Euro will be provided. Intern can apply for the NASA Enhancement Awards through IRO.

What are the eligibility requirements?
Students from any faculty
CAP of 3.0 or above
Students in year 1, 2 and 3. Students in their graduating semester are not eligible.
Functional knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign
Knowledge of digital web and HTML files
Is visa required?
Students are to consult Embassy of Italy in Singapore to determine if a visa is required and to apply for an entry visa if needed.
