
About AcquaSummer 2009:
AcquaSummer 2009 is an exciting 5-week summer program organized by Tec de Monterrey’s Campus Queretaro from 10th June to 22nd July . Recognizing the immense value of water as a life-giving resource and the role of Mexican water sources to the sustainability of global ecological equilibrium, activities and classes in AcquaSummer 2009 will reinforce the importance of water and expose students to aspects of Mexican culture, including academic field trips to sites of historical and cultural significance around Mexico.
Courses Available:
Tec De Monterrey is one of the top universities in Latin America and is an exchange partner with NUS. It is also an APRU and Universitas 21 member. You can refer to this info sheet for more information about Tec de Monterrey. The following courses are offered for NUS students. Courses for NUS students will be taught in English except for Basic Spanish. Click here to view course listings.

Applications for the AcquaSummer 2009 are now open.
The application deadline may vary from faculty to faculty. Please refer to the table below for the application deadline. Please contact your faculty administrator for application details. After due processing and selection, your faculties will work with IRO to forward your applications to Campus Queretaro at Tec de Monterrey.

Cost Estimates:
AcquaSummer 2009 is based at Tec de Monterrey’s campus in the beautiful colonial city of Queretaro, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The 5-week program includes 2 courses on tuition waiver. Personal expenses must be borne by students. These expected costs are listed in US dollars and may vary due to fluctuating exchange rates. Click here to view estimated cost.
Course Credits:
Students must submit study plans to their respective faculties/departments for approval of credit transfer prior to applying for AcquaSummer 2009. The final decision is at the discretion of the respective faculties.
Financial Aid:
Students from the Faculty of Science may apply for SSOEF for this program. Details about this financial aid can be found at http://www.science.nus.edu.sg/aboutfos/giving/. For more information, please contact the Faculty of Science Dean’s Office.
