The National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) from Germany, one of Europe's top technical universities, signed an agreement on 16 January 2002 to establish a joint Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry. TUM is the 8th world class foreign university in Singapore. The Master's of Science in Industrial Chemistry will be a graduate course for specialist chemists in the pharmaceutical as well as fine and specialty chemical industries.
