Positions available at Fusia Communications include:

     1) Position: Public Relations and Marketing Intern (1 or 2 vacancies)

This position is open mainly to students from the School of Business, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the University Scholars Program.

Job Description:

The marketing intern will assist the FUSIA in launching, promoting, managing and organizing program(s) (including CCIP) from different disciplines. This is a great opportunity for students interested in public relations, marketing and communications. The intern will be exposed to a variety of activities and will gain a better understanding of how a communication plan is developed and administered.

Examples of assignments:

1) Writing articles for programs and press releases
2) Developing marketing pieces such as newsletters and flyers
3) Conducting interviews and research
4) Organizing and administering functions
5) Updating the website
6) Engaging in administrative work that supports daily functions

Special requirements:

1) Excellent English writing and analytical skills
2) Attention to detail
3) Proactive, open-minded, and willing to share constructive opinions in a professional manner

Stipend:

$12 per day x 35 days = $420 per session
