Baden-Württemberg Scholarship, Germany

This scholarship is offered to selected students going to any university in the German State of Baden-Württemberg on student exchange. Its aim is to promote the international exchange of qualified German and non-German students.

China Initiatives Steering Committee (CISC) Funding

As part of NUS’ continuous efforts to encourage undergraduates to have an international experience in China, funding is available for Singaporean / PR students who are participating in internships, hybrid work and study programmes (including NOC), research attachments, short-term study programmes (such as international summer programmes), or Study Trips for Engagement and Enrichment (STEER) programmes in China.

DSTA ACE Scholarship

DSTA is offering scholarships to Singapore citizens who are interested to go to the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden for one to two semesters of exchange and are interested in a defence-related career after graduation. 

DUO Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award

This award is for students from ASEAN-member countries and who are going to a university in the European Union for student exchange.  Applications are now open.

EPFL Exchange Award

EPFL offers an award of CHF 500 per month for one semester to exchange students from selected partners such as NUS.

All NUS students selected for SEP to EPFL would be automatically considered.

ETH Zurich Student Exchange Award

ETH Zurich offers a monthly award of CHF 1500 to exchange students from her bilateral partners, including NUS.

All NUS students selected for SEP to ETH Zurich would be automatically considered.

Fulbright Association (Singapore) Student Exchange Award

This award is available for one NUS student on the Student Exchange Programme (SEP) to a United States partner university.

Global KU Scholarship, Korea University

Korea University (KU) is offering the Global KU scholarship in celebration of its centennial in 2005 with the aim to encourage future global leaders to study at KU. Undergraduate exchange students can apply for the admission scholarships valued at KRW 300,000 per month for the first semester (4 months) or KU Travel Scholarships which consist of a one-time payment of up to KRW 1,000,000 subject to travel distance and currency rate. Students selected for SEP to Korea University can apply on-line for either one of the scholarships directly with Korea University.

International Business Fellowship (iBF) Programme

International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and NUS co-fund undergraduates embarking on Student Exchange Programme (SEP), internships, hybrid work and study programmes and/or short term programmes in key markets of Central Asia, China, India, Indonesia, Latin America, the Middle East, Russia and Vietnam under the iBF programme.

Italian Scholarship

The Italian Government is offering scholarships to Singapore citizens who are current NUS undergraduate or graduate students to pursue academic or student exchanges, research programmes and graduate studies at approved Italian universities.

JASSO Scholarship, Japan

The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) offers scholarships to qualified international students accepted by Japanese Universities under the student exchange agreement. The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of 80,000 yen per month, subject to change depending on their yearly financial budget. Students who are selected for SEP to any of the Japanese partner universities can apply for the scholarships by filling up the hardcopy application form and sent it to the host university together with the SEP application.

NUS-UBC Lee Foundation Student Exchange Award

This award was created in 2003 through a generous donation from the Lee Foundation to help fund NUS students on exchange to University of British Columbia (UBC).  The Lee Foundation encourages educational endeavors overseas and recognizes the strong ties between NUS and UBC.

Santander Undergraduate Research Exchange (SURE) Programme

The SURE Programme allows young researchers at NUS to spend the summer at the laboratories of Tsinghua University (China), Brown University (USA) and Imperial College London (UK), to conduct supervised research work. Selected participants will receive the SURE Programme scholarship worth US$2,000 each, sponsored by Banco Santander.

Tan Mingwei Global Community Service Grant 

This award is created in memory of Tan Mingwei, who was a medical student at Cambridge University. This award is set up for the purpose of awarding Tan Mingwei Gobal Community Service Grants which would allow students to carry out meaningful community work in developing countries like she did, and perhaps be transformed by the experience like she was.

Technical University of Munich (TUM) Student Exchange Award

Technical University of Munich offers a monthly award of 600 EUROs for one semester to exchange students from selected partners such as NUS.

All NUS students selected for SEP to Technical University of Munich would be automatically considered.

Temasek Foundation Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking
(TF LEaRN) Programme 2013 @ NUS

With the aim to groom the leader in you, the TF LEaRN Programme @ NUS nurtures the next generation of Asian leaders by providing opportunities for cultural exchange, networking, community engagement and leadership development.

Selected students receive S$ 4,000-S$ 6,000 during their semester exchange to ASEAN and Asia (China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan).

University of Aarhus Travel Grant

University of Aarhus offers a travel grant of up to 1000 EUROs to exchange students from selected partners such as NUS.

The procedure of application will be given to exchange students only after arrival.

University of Geneva Student Exchange Award

University of Geneva offers a monthly award of CHF 1000 to exchange students from selected partners such as NUS. The award can also be split between 2 students, i.e. CHF 500 each.

All NUS students selected for SEP to University of Geneva would be automatically considered.

University of Zurich Student Exchange Award

University of Zurich offers an award of CHF 2500 for one semester to exchange students from selected partners such as NUS.

All NUS students selected for SEP to University of Zurich would be automatically considered.

U21 Scholarship for Korea University

Korea University provides scholarships to exchange students from partner universities under the Universitas network, including NUS.  Application for the scholarship is not required as all NUS students admitted for SEP to Korea University will be automatically provided with KRW 250,000 per semester. Students on the Korea University International Summer Campus (ISC) programme will receive a funding of US$200.
