NUS Awards for Study Abroad - NASA


Singapore Citizens
 

NUS undergraduate students who are Singapore citizens are eligible to apply for NASA Bursaries, which are given based on financial need (i.e. based on family per capita income), or for  NASA Scholarships, which are  given based on academic merit.

List of NASA Awards and application procedures:

 


* NASA Degree Bursaries and Scholarships are given to undergraduate students who are on selected Joint, Double or Concurrent Degree Programmes with overseas universities.

** NASA Exchange Bursaries and Scholarships are given to undergraduate students who are going on overseas Student Exchange Programme (SEP).

*** NASA Enhancement Bursaries and Scholarships are given to undergraduate students who are going on short term and special overseas programmes, for example, international summer programmes (i-SP), international internships (i-Intern),international research attachment programmes (i-RAP) and field studies.


In addition, students are eligible to apply to IRO for additional funding for selected programmes in specific countries/regions:


IE Singapore Young Talent Programme


Under the International Enterprise (IE) Singapore Young Talent Programme, IE Singapore co-funds undergraduates who are going for Student Exchange Programme (SEP), internships, hybrid work and study programmes and/or short term programmes in key markets of Central Asia, China, India, Indonesia, Latin America, Middle East, Myanmar, Russia, Turkey and Vietnam.

China Initiatives Steering Committee (CISC) Funding

The CISC funding aims to encourage students to have an international experience in China. It provides funding for short-term programmes such as summer programmes, research attachments, STEER programmes and internships in China.
