NASA Exchange Scholarship (Permanent Residents)

NASA Exchange Scholarships are available on a competitive basis to undergraduate students who are on overseas Student Exchange Programme.

These scholarships are valued up to S$2,000.

  • Full time PR undergraduate students.
  • Granted based on academic merit – i.e. the limited number of NASA Exchange Scholarships will be given to the most academically deserving students with the highest CAP scores.
  • Accepted to go on SEP.

Conditions for Successful Awards

  • Applicantsmay receive at most ONE (1) NASA Exchange Scholarship award during their undergraduate study in NUS.
  • Successful recipients of the award may not hold any other financial award/scholarship/bursary/free aid for the same academic year concurrently without approval from IRO and the respective awarding bodies, including those awarded by host universities.
  • For successful recipients who are holders of other scholarships/awards, the amount awarded will be adjusted accordingly, subject to approval by IRO.

In the event that successful recipients are unable to go on SEP, they must write to IRO at iroawards@nus.edu.sg with a full explanation. IRO reserves the right to withdraw the award in such cases and may impose an administrative fee.

The award does not carry a bond. However, all award recipients are encouraged to attend the SEP Ambassador Programme and are expected to be NUS ambassadors to the best of their ability. Awardees must complete the Returnee Survey, and submit a SEP report.
