Awards & Scholarships for Incoming Students


The Student Exchange Programme is a once in a lifetime opportunity for students from NUS’ partner universities  to experience life and university in Singapore, and NUS recognizes that some students may need financial assistance in order to participate.  NUS works hard to provide funding opportunities to those students in need and the International Relations Office is proud to present the awards and scholarships below to incoming international students from their partner universities for their Student Exchange Programme.

DUO-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Awards

Financial assistance provided for incoming exchange students from the European Union for one semester or one year of studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

NUS-UBC Lee Foundation Student Exchange Award

This award was created in 2003 through a generous donation from the Lee Foundation to help fund University of British Columbia (UBC) students to come on exchange to NUS.  The Lee Foundation encourages educational endeavors overseas and recognizes the strong ties between NUS and UBC.

Research Scholarship for Italian Citizens (CSTC, Italy-Singapore)

In conjunction with the Executive Programme on Cultural, Scientific and
T
echnological Cooperation between Singapore and Italy, students of Italian origin can apply for the NUS Research Scholarship for Italian Citizens to pursue graduate studies by research at the master level at NUS.

Temasek Foundation Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking
(TF LEaRN) Programme 2013 @ NUS

With the aim to groom the leader in you, the TF LEaRN Programme @ NUS nurtures the next generation of Asian leaders by providing opportunities for cultural exchange, networking, community engagement and leadership development.

Selected students from ASEAN and Asia (China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan) receive S$ 6,500 during their semester exchange in NUS.
