FAQs on Pre-Proposals and E-POPS
A pre-proposal is a 1,000 word submission to enable the NUS POC panel to evaluate and comment on the feasibility of the proposed project for application to NRF.
NRF requires IHLs to evaluate and endorse all applications made by its respective applicants. The pre-proposal system allows you to submit an application without the time investment required to draft a full proposal.
You would need to address the following 6 points:
1. Opportunity
2. Proposed Approach
3. Commercialization
4. Deliverables
5. Team and Collaborations
6. Resources and Budget
Your pre-proposal should not exceed 1,000 words.
E-POPS is the Enterprise POC Online Pre-proposal System, created by NUS Enterprise specifically to faciliate submissions and reviews of pre-proposals submitted by NUS staff and students who are interested to apply for the NRF POC grant.
