Manager/Assistant Manager

You will be responsible for managing and commercializing NUS inventions. You will evaluate patentability and commercial potential of new inventions and liaise closely with NUS inventors and patent attorneys to manage patent applications and other forms of IP protection. You will promote, market and commercialize NUS inventions. You will also advise and assist NUS community on all matters pertaining to IP protection, management and licensing. You are also expected to work closely with lawyers, principal investigators and external collaborators on research agreements.

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science / Physical Science / Life Science / Material Science / Engineering


• Ability to appreciate the current state of technological developments in science & research


• Possess business development/marketing experience/appreciation of industry value chain preferably in Environmental Engineering in relation to Building & Construction OR Material Science/Nanotechnology applications OR Information Technology.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Good Project Management Skill - tenacity, ability to prioritize and keep track of various activities/projects


• Motivated and matured
