Advertisement Templates

The bar element gives NUS advertisements their distinctive look and feel. Bars of different sizes can be used.

The most generic is the thin bar which should occupy only 5 per cent of the total advertisement space. By encapsulating the logo and the University’s contact details, this bar streamlines information and gives the advertisement a clean, uncluttered look.

Bigger bars can be used depending on whether the advertiser wants the focus to be visual or text friendly. Copy that is punchy and tight, can be captured in a bigger bar leaving the visual and the key message to command attention. We would recommend that when a bigger bar is used, it should occupy no more than one-third the size of the advertisement.
