The 1st Call for Proposals was made in November 2009. Following the call, the NUS-GAI research grant was awarded to 5 research projects and the focus area of these projects ranges from health and sociology, concepts of modernity, urbanization and mapping the scientific landscape in Asia.
Two workshops were organised in June and August 2010 in relation to the 1st Call for Proposals and the grant winners presented their projects during these Workshop. The aim of the Workshops was to catalyze an exchange of ideas and nurture possible collaborations between the grant winners and a broad spectrum of experts that will ultimately help contribute towards achieving NUS-GAI’s vision. |
