Abstract
The major challenge of ageing is to ensure that this change in population does not result in a decrease in the quality of life for the aged, in terms of their career and for the society. This can only be achieved through a holistic approach which harnesses a wide range of disciplines, from Medicine, Sociology, and Policy to Engineering, Design and Technology Development. The sessions on Ageing highlight the multidisciplinary research of NUS and some cutting edge developments in the world with an Asian flavour.
