Unlock Your Creativity through Doodling and Digital Painting

Overview

This workshop will provide you with useful information and methods in creative thinking process as well as visualizing your thoughts and feelings through doodling and cartoon drawing. The benefits gained include exercising your mind through creative visual expression and stimulation, group interaction and exposure to different media. Participants are encouraged to keep an open mind throughout this workshop with the ability to doodle and draw fun & basic cartoon sketches.

Day 1

    • Creative concept development and ideas exploration
    • Unleash the creativity within you through doodling into visual form
    • A deeper understanding of your doodling and drawing
    • Digital file formatting and file management
    • Basic function of Photoshop for digital painting
    • Digital painting and drawing tools introduction
    • Visual tension
    • Training your eyes to see hidden messages from a picture
    • Your mind and your painting
    • Right brain and left brain painting
    • Step by step image manipulation for day 1

  • one thick-tip and one thin-tip black color drawing-markers (also named as felt-tip pen)
  • one 6B pencil
  • one B pencil
  • one black color crayon
  • 15 sheets of white base A3 size paper
