Mandarin Level VI

This level is designed for people who finished level V or have studied Mandarin for 200 hours. Another 150 Chinese characters will be introduced in this level. Below conversation topics will be covered.


Topics

  • Renting a flat
  • Buying furniture
  • Making a phone call
  • Making a speech
  • Visiting a school
  • Attending a lecture


Objective

  • Talking about the rent, the rooms, the facilities, the vicinity, etc.
  • Going to the furniture shop to buy furniture for bedroom, living room, and kitchen utensil, etc.
  • Talking about the patient’s condition, eg: coughing, high fever, inflammation, soar throat, etc.
  • Giving a speech and preparation.
  • Describing the buildings of the school, eg: classroom, dormitory, athletic field, sports complex, library, laboratory, etc.
  • Attending and observing a class in a school.
