Mandarin Intermediate II

Business Conversation

The course deals with topics on industry and commerce, including business administration and management. It is designed to equip students with the relevant language skills to do business in/with China.

Students completed this 80 learning hours’ course will master bout 2300 Chinese characters. With the Chinese grammar and word usage covered, students will be able to give short speech and write short essays on related business topics at the end of the course

  • Goods delivery
  • Making payment
  • Contracts
  • Sales agents
  • Joint ventures
  • Applying for bank loans
  • Real estate investment
  • Business customs


Objective

  • Preliminary understanding and mastering the language and culture of  doing business in China
  • A simple description of the commercial negotiations with the Chinese success and failure cases
  • To bargain with the Chinese and the delivery of payment
  • Description and reading in Chinese contract
  • Described in Chinese foreign agent for business in China
  • A simple understanding of the Chinese government-owned joint venture in China for foreign policy
  • A brief description of Chinese bank loans in China
  • With a brief description of the Chinese real estate investment in China
