Mentoring Paradigms for Youth Entrepreneurship

Synopsis

This workshop will equip the participants with key mentoring paradigms as handles to unleash the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of youths. Participants will be taken on a journey to learn how to work with the youths to activate their inner resources, to challenge the youths to rise above their comfort zone, to enlarge the capacity of youths to manage the unknowns and to hone their interpersonal and team skills.

Course Outline

Understanding the foundation of innovation and entrepreneurship. Mentoring with the end in mind. Mentoring the inner resources of youths. Mentoring the wider perspective and worldview of youths. Mentoring the sense of purpose in youths. Framework in creating a learning space.

Methodology

The course is conducted as a 1 full-day workshop with a mixture of lectures, case studies and interactive discussions. Videos will be used to highlight key mentoring paradigms.
