Tom Kosnik is a consulting professor at Stanford School of Engineering.  His courses have included Global Entrepreneurial Marketing, Global Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Strategy for Technology Based Companies.  He has designed and led a variety of executive education programs.  He has coauthored two marketing text books, several articles, and over sixty case studies about companies in imagination-intensive markets.  He has taught in the past at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and National University of Singapore.  Tom is also a managing director with TCG Advisors. Since 1978, he has helped information technology (IT) suppliers take new products to market, and global companies to adopt IT innovations to create value for their customers and shareholders. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from Duke University (1972), MBA from University of Virginia (1977), and Ph.D. from Stanford Graduate School of Business (1985).

Dr. Wong Poh Kam
Associate Professor, NUS Business School &
Director, NUS Entrepreneurship Centre

Dr. Wong Poh Kam is currently Associate Professor, Business School and Director, Entrepreneurship Centre, National University of Singapore. He obtained two BSc.'s., an MSc. and a PhD. from MIT.

Prior to joining NUS in 1988, he was a co-founder of two IT companies and the founding managing director of a consulting firm in Malaysia. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley and a visiting scholar at Stanford University and the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology. He has consulted widely for international agencies such as the World Bank and ADB, various government agencies in Singapore such as EDB, IDA and A*STAR, as well as many high tech firms in Asia.

He has published in numerous international journals on technology entrepreneurship and innovation strategy, and is the lead researcher for Singapore in many international comparative research projects, including the annual Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) study and the Stanford Project on Regions of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SPRIE). He teaches technology management and technology entrepreneurship to NUS MBA and graduate engineering/science students as well as to senior executives in the NUS Executive MBA program. He initiated and directed the MSc (Management of Technology) Program in NUS, and directed/taught numerous senior executive programs in Asia such as the NUS-U.C. Berkeley Executive Program on Managing E-Commerce.

Dr. Wong initiated StartUp@Singapore, an annual national business plan competition in Singapore, and is the founding chairman of Business Angel Network (Southeast Asia). An active angel investor, he currently serves on the board of directors of several high tech start-ups in Singapore, Silicon Valley and Malaysia and was chairman of the NUS Venture Support Fund Investment Committee 2003-04. He is also a founding director of Monte Jade Singapore Chapter, a panel member of The Enterprise Challenge (TEC), and a member of the IDA iN2015 IISTD Subcommittee. For his contribution to education in Singapore, he was awarded the Public Administration Medal(Bronze) by the Singapore government in 2005.

Mr. Bob Lin Fu-Yuan
Co-Founder & General Partner,
ACorn Campus, ACorn Venture, Asia Capital Group

Bob is the co-founder of Acorn Campus and Acorn Angels, two of the most reputable investment organizations in Asian American community. In addition to having extensive angels and corporate investment expertise with multiple IPOs, he also has more than 20 years of international business start-up, marketing, and management experiences. He is very well known for being the first launching investor of Avanti (IPO '95), AltiGen (IPO '97) and LightLogic (Sold to Intel for $400M '01). He is an early investor in Vertex Network (Sold to Mitel for $200M '99). He is also the co-founder of Pine Photonics (sold to Hitachi/Opnext '03). With Acorn, Bob was also an investor of AFOP (IPO '00) and Rapidstream (M&A, '02).

Bob is the co-owner and board director of several medium-size manufacturing companies in Asia with a combined number of employees near 4,000. Bob also serves as the Chairman of Mobile Radius, a wireless platform company in California, and on the board of Pine Photonics and Luxnet in Fremont, California, as well as Atonics, a SoC Semiconductor company in Taiwan, plus EPIN Wireless System in Beijing. Bob is also the author of an inspiring book "Pursuit of Success & Happiness" and has been asked to write several more books for the next few years. In the past, he had been the lead guitarist and pianist of the rock band "Southern Breed" in Taiwan.

Bob has been very active in generous community services. He was the Chairman twice in Chinese Association of International Trade (CAIT), Board member of Monte Jade Association, Board member of Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce. He has also served both as the Commissioner and the Chairman of Santa Clara County - HsinChu County Commission. Bob has a MSEE degree from University of California at Santa Barbara. He has been very active in community services.

Mr. Mark Chang
CEO and Founder, JobStreet


Mark Chang is an Executive Director and Founder of JobStreet. He has also been its Chief Executive Officer since its inception. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, USA in 1988 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA in 1990.

Prior to founding MOL Online Sdn Bhd in 1995 and subsequently JobStreet in 1997, Mark was with Kendall International, a US healthcare company, for 6 years, starting as a process engineer in 1990 before being promoted to manufacturing manager in 1992 and regional director of sales and marketing for Malaysia in 1994. He left Kendall International in 1996 to establish JobStreet. Under his direction, the JobStreet Group has expanded regionally.

Mr. Ng Hock Ching
Chairman of Orange Gum

Co-founder and Senior Vice President of Natsteel Electronics Pte Ltd from year 1993 to 1998. He was responsible for worldwide marketing and sales and North American Operations and also the Principal activities of Natsteel Electronics include printed circuit board manufacturing and complete box building. Subsequently he was the Co-founder and Managing Director of ECS Holdings Ltd from 1998 to 2000 and was responsible for all ECS Holdings activities, including distribution and consultancy of IT products covering both hardware and software in Asia.

In year 2000 to 2002, he co-founded and served as chairman of three wireless companies in Singapore, namely Orange Gum, Voium and Airgateway, where he played a key role in securing venture capital investment.

In 2003, he founded and formed SNF Corporation Ltd which will hold 4 companies. These 4 companies are based in Singapore with activities in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and China. The companies are involved in electronic component distribution, electronic manufacturing equipment distribution, screen printing ink sales, tempo printing fixtures production and printing equipment distribution and manufacturing of packaging materials. SNF went public in Mar 2004

He is currently an adjunct associate professor at the NUS Entrepreneurship Centre.
