Abstract:
In this forum, the speaker will share with the audience her experience of leading and growing DP Information Group - Singapore's leading company in the credit & business information space, and how the company is today helping SMEs and other companies making use of better business information for growth.
About the Speaker:
Ms Chen Yew Nah is managing director of Singapore's leading homegrown credit & business information bureau, DP Information Group. She is a proud alumni of the National University of Singapore, citing her years at NUS as foundational and key to her management approach today. Yew Nah started her career in information management and manufacturing procurement. She had no idea that this would take her into an almost pure entrepreneurial role that she found herself in when she took the reigns of DP Information Group.
In heading DP Info Group, she systematically re-engineered the systems, approach and method of the company. This involved changing the positioning of the firm, broadening the relevance of the group's offerings and making relevant information to credit and business decisions made everyday in banks, MNCs and SMEs. After 10 years of managing the group, the firm has quadrupled its headcount, partnered up with international credit risk giants such as Moody's|KMV and Fair Isaac and more critically, made Start-ups and SMEs a key concentration through its SME one-stop centre, DP Bureau.
DP Information Group is today, one of Singapore's most prominent companies in the credit & business information space. The nation's financial institutions, law firms, multinationals and SMEs rely on DP Info's real-time online information portal, QuestNet, to make timely, informed and confident business and credit decisions everyday. DP Info is the ranking body of the "Singapore 1000 & SME 500" annual corporate rankings, which is celebrating 20 years of ranking our nation's most successful corporations and SMEs.
The bureau takes great pride in assisting and making available access to business and credit information data and tools such as DP Credit Ratings and DP Credit Bureau accessible to all business & credit decision-makers.
