NUS researchers developed system for continuous verification using multiple biometrics
NUS School of Computing had developed a system that could verify the identity of the user continuously, using passive biometrics such as thumbprint and face features. The system could be used in government agencies and commercial organisations to enhance information security.

10% more engineering research projects from S’pore labs to real world
The NUS Engineering Faculty estimates a 5 to 10 percent growth in the number of research projects being patented or companies being started up over the last five years. Prof Seeram Ramakrishnan, dean of the faculty and Assistant Prof Yeo Yee Chia from dept of electrical and computer engineering commented on the projects.
