 Senior Manager / Manager (Industry Relations and Contracts)
Description:

You will be responsible for managing and commercializing NUS inventions. You will evaluate the patentability and commercial potential of new inventions and liaise closely with NUS inventors and patent attorneys to manage patent applications and other forms of IP protection. In addition to promoting and marketing NUS inventions, you will also advise and assist the NUS community on all matters pertaining to IP protection, management and licensing. You will be responsible for managing and commercializing NUS inventions. Qualifications:

Senior Manager (Industry Relations and Contracts)

  • Postgraduate degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 - 10 years of industry experience, including business development or marketing
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property law and management, preferably in an institutional set-up
  • Good grasp of contract law and research agreements
  • Experience in negotiating research contracts or collaborative agreements
  • Ability to lead or manage a team
  • Good interpersonal skills working with researchers and industry
  • Excellent written and communication skills

 

Manager (Industry Relations and Contract)

  • Degree in Engineering
  • At least 3 – 5 years of industry experience, including business development or marketing
  • Ability to appreciate the current state of technological developments in science & research
  • Experience in negotiating research contracts or collaborative agreements
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Additional qualification in IP management is preferred
Title:
 Manager (Compliance)
Description:
 You will be responsible for compliance matters in ILO and work closely with case officers and licensees on royalties and payments.  You will also manage ILO’s database of agreements and statistics.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Management or other equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience would be an added advantage
  • Good knowledge in implementation and maintenance of processes & policies
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
