Research Statistics
The quality and quantity of research NUS continues to grow rapidly over the years. Some highlights are :

NUS received close to S$376million from the National Research Foundation (NRF), Ministry of Education (MOE), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and other agencies in financial year 2008, marking a 10 per cent increase from the year before.

A total of 743 new projects was started in financial year 2008 and in the same period, 369 projects were completed. During the same financial year, NUS signed 142 research collaborative agreements with a project value of close to S$171 million.

A total of 4,962 papers were published in internationally refereed journals in 2008.
