Recent Developments in Industrial Organization
Coordinator: Aamir Rafique Hashmi, Assistant Professor, Economics
Project Description and Scope
The group
shall discuss latest developments in
Industrial Organization (whether
empirical, theoretical, experimental, or
behavioral). The focus will be on recent
papers or working papers of interest.
The purpose is to keep abreast of the
frontier research in the profession and
also to know what other colleagues are
reading or interested in.
In each meeting, one group member will
act as moderator. The moderator will
announce a recent paper of his/her
choice before the meeting, present a
summary of the paper at the beginning of
the meeting and then lead the discussion
on the paper during the meeting. It will
be a very informal forum to discuss new
research.
