Prof Ho Teck HuaWelcome to the Office of the Deputy President (Research and Technology) at the National University of Singapore! NUS is home to cutting-edge research done in a range of intra- and inter-disciplinary areas. Our mission at the ODPRT is to facilitate this research and establish leading research programmes.


Our office oversees 26 NUS university-level research institutes and centres and three Research Centres of Excellence. It also sets research policy, works to expand research funding, and oversees the allocation of this funding. We also maintain NUS' Research Data Management Policy and Research Integrity Code, and oversee the NUS Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC) and the NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering (NGS).
