In line with NUS' commitment to build a more sustainable campus environment, the NUS University Town is being built on a site with lush tropical landscape and rolling terrain, adopting sustainable design principles.
The 19-hectare University Town to be completed in 2011 features, among other things, green roofs and lush landscaping to cut down on urban heat; and a waste management system for recyclables, organic and horticultural waste.
