What kind of information is being archived and how you can make use of it?
You can see that most of the information that is being archived consists of bidding statistics, and these bidding statistics can be used in many ways. For example, using the average successful bid points statistics, you can trace how much it actually costs you (in terms of bid points) to secure a module lecture class. Here's another example - you can compare the bidding points for a specific module at specific rounds across semesters, providing you with the intelligence you need to make a wise choice during bidding.
Here is an illustration:

- In round 1A, there is a separate queue for new and returning students.
- From round 2A, the queues for new and returning students merged. Some quota is reserved for G accounts bidding in the later round.
- From round 2C, all NUS students bid from the same queue using either P or G account, i.e. no more protected round.
From the statistics, you can see that once the protected round is over, i.e. from round 2C onwards, the lowest successful bid point increases significantly (from 1 to 649 points) as the module is over-subscribed. So it would be advisable to bid for the module during the protected rounds if you can.
